You should always try to let someone know if you are delayed after promising to meet them somewhere. Keep in mind that people will not want to walk a far distance for trade of items that does not have much value. Do not mislead others when you do business with them. If you know you are charging a person more than others might, it might be a good idea to tell them that. They may respect you more for telling them and that respect can potentially get you more business later on. Don't be surprised if someone charges you less for something where you harvest/kill it. Don't be surprised if someone charges you more on a special day where the xp or item might be more valuable. If you try to constantly trade up, you may annoy people. There have been people that have even traded up while dealing only with one person and it does get annoying. If anyone else can find anything else to post, please do.

If you take an order for a product or service, give your client an approximate delivery time/date; mention any time periods that you will not be working on the progress of their order such as special #days, harvest hours, prior commitments or out of town and therefore unable to be online, etc.
Make arrangements for a contact method when their order is ready for pickup or delivery. Outline the terms of pickup and delivery as well, for example, if you are unable to deliver to C2, make them aware of this limitation before accepting the job.
Be certain that the terms of the order are clearly understood by both parties, including price in gold coins or trade items.
Be fast, be dependable, be affordable.
